Our Coaching Process

Scheduling Sessions

Emerge with Coaching features flexible scheduling. After the “Get Acquainted” meeting, coaching is usually done by phone but can be scheduled in person depending upon the client’s preference. Organizational skills coaching is typically done in the client’s work environment whenever possible. The client determines what works best – three half hour calls; two 45 minute calls, in person or by phone. Fees are based on the number and length of calls per month.

As the relationship continues, the coach becomes the trusted confidante and champion, encouraging the client to establish goals and take action upon them. Calls or in person follow-up allows time for checking in, reporting on action taken and modifying goals as needed. Short calls, 5-10 minutes in length, and brief emails are other ways that communication may occur.

Coaching is different from therapy because the coach believes the client is creative, resourceful and whole. We believe that you know how to enjoy your life.
